BIOGRAPHY
The collective alonso + craciun has worked since 2004 in art projects that dialogues with the real, in various formats such as installation, photography, video, publications, objects and actions. They seek to establish relationships with public institutions of culture, educational institutions of different order; autonomous ventures of cultural and pollitical action. These approaches have generated many different venues in the public sphere and an artistic production that seeks to contextualize and belong to the complex world in which we live. They have developed projects and exhibitions locally and internationally, represented Uruguay at the XII Biennial of Architecture in Venice and the Mercosul Art Biennial VIII. they develop the cultural space, AMORIR: a place for artistic, aesthetic and political practices since 2008.
About The Collective Eye – Project
The Collective Eye aims to strengthen a polynational dialogue between different collectives as well as between collectives and theorists.
The Collective Eye organizes exhibitions and symposia on collective practice in art and publishes the book series Thoughts on Collective Practice.
